One of two Irish All-Americans to return in 2001...one of four Irish co-captains...one of the nation?s top attack players...the team?s leader in assists in each of the past three seasons ... he has been at the heart of the Irish attack unit since coming to Notre Dame...is often the attacker focused on most by opponents...has become a better shooter in and around the goal...works hard without the ball to create scoring opportunities for teammates...has good field vision with the ability to dodge defenders...one of his greatest assets is his speed on the field.

Honorable Mention selection on the USILA/STX All-America team...selected to the Great Western Lacrosse League all-conference team ...started 13 of 14 games (did not start against Loyola in the regular season)...second-leading scorer on team with 17 goals and a team-best 32 assists (49 points)...his 32 assists tied the Irish single-season assist mark...tied the record with his two assists versus Johns Hopkins in the quarterfinals of the NCAA tournament...led team in assists for third straight season...his 81 assists currently rank third on Irish career list, 19 behind school-recordholder Randy Colley (1991-95)...also ranks seventh on all-time scoring list with 131 points ...registered a career-best eight points in 20-12 win over Fairfield with four goals and four assists...three of his four assists were on goals by Tom Glatzel...registered seven points against Villanova in 17-9 win as he scored four goals and dished off three assists...tallied all four of his goals in Notre Dame?s 12-0 run against the Wildcats...the first of his three assists was on Jon Harvey?s third-period goal with 8:30 remaining in the quarter which gave the Irish the lead for good at 8-7...dished off four assists against Harvard...two of the assists were on scores by Glatzel...scored a goal and dished off two assists against Ohio State...also had a goal and two assists in season opener against Penn State...tallied goals in loss at Pennsylvania and in wins over Denver and Butler...had two assists in win over Air Force...did not record a point in the Loyola game which snapped a streak of 23 consecutive games with either a goal or an assist...dished off a season-high three assists versus Hofstra...had a goal and an assist in NCAA tournament first round win over Loyola...gave the Irish a 1-0 lead 46 seconds into the contest and had the assist on twin brother Todd?s second-half score which put Notre Dame up 12-5 in the game...collected a career-high seven ground balls against Butler...had six ground balls against Villanova...had 50 ground balls on the season.

AS A SOPHOMORE:
Finished season with 17 goals and a team-high 31 assists for 48 points in ?99...a first-team all-Great Western Lacrosse League selection, his 31 assists were the second most by an Irish player in a single season...a starter in all 14 games, he had either a goal or an assist in all 14 contests ...scored a goal and dished off three assists in NCAA tournament first-round loss to Georgetown...registered highest point total of the season with seven points against Air Force...in the 16-2 win over the Falcons, he had two goals and a career-high five assists...equaled his personal high assist total in following game against Villanova...scored two goals and dished off two assists against top-ranked Loyola in 10-8 loss...dished off three assists in 10-8 win over Hobart...tallied game-winning goal in come-from-behind 8-7 victory over Butler...scored the unassisted game-winner with 53 seconds remaining in the contest as he finished the game with a goal and two assists...had the assist on Steve Bishko?s game-tying goal with four minutes left to play...netted a season-high three goals in overtime loss (10-9) to Hofstra... contributed a goal and four assists in 17-9 win over Denver...scored a goal and dished off three assists against Harvard...one of four Irish players to earn GWLL player-of-the-week honors in 1999.

AS A FRESHMAN:
Established two Irish freshman marks in 1998 ? points (34) and assists (18)...second-leading scorer in his rookie season as he netted 16 goals and dished off a team-high 18 assists...started nine of the 12 games he played in during the 1998 campaign...had five goals and two assists in first collegiate outing against Penn State...his seven points were the most by an Irish freshman in his first collegiate game...tallied Notre Dame?s first goal of the 1998 campaign in that contest...netted two goals and dished off an assist in second game of the season at Denver where he earned his first collegiate start...tallied one goal and dished off three assists in win at Air Force...scored a goal in his fourth straight game against Loyola when he led the squad with three goals and two assists...had a season-high four assists in the Rutgers game, including two to Dan Butler...credited with an assist to his twin brother Todd in loss at Butler, marking the first time the two had combined for an Irish score...saw limited playing time because of an injury in sixth game of the season against Hobart which was the first time he failed to register a point in a game...both he and his brother Todd started against Massachusetts which was the first game in ?98 that both earned starts in the same contest...leading scorer for the Irish with three goals and an assist in upset win over Hofstra in the season finale.

One of the top players from the Baltimore area in 1997...Washington Post all-metro selection...joins twin brother Todd on the Irish team as the first twins in the history of the Notre Dame lacrosse program...one of four players on the Notre Dame team that played at Boys? Latin...two-sport athlete earning letters in both lacrosse and soccer...led lacrosse team to 1997 state championship as Boys?
