AS A JUNIOR: Affected by an injury during the 2002 cross country season ... highlight of the year came at the 2003 BIG EAST indoor meet, claiming the Distance Medley Relay Championship along with teammates Lauren King, Tricia Floyd and Molly Huddle ... squad won the race in a meet-record time of 11:24.45 ... began the 2002 cross country season with an eighth-place finish at the adidas Invitational ... followed up with a sixth-place effort in the National Catholic ... ended up 48th in the Notre Dame Invitational as the Irish finished third ... ran at the Pre-National, finishing in 246th place ... began the 2003 indoor season running the 800 meters, finishing second against Michigan State (2:14.19) ... moved on to the mile and qualified for the BIG EAST meet with a 4:55.55 effort at the Meyo Invitational ... eventually finished eighth at the BIG EAST indoor meet in the mile (4:58.85) ... only competed at one outdoor meet during the 2003 season ... ran well in that one meet, however, winning the Tom Botts Invitational 1,500 meters in 4:31.68 ... also finished ninth in the 800 meters at the Tom Botts.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Continued to improve and develop into one of the top distance and cross country specialists on the Irish team ... began the 2001 cross country season by finishing second on the team and third overall at the National Catholic Invitational ... helped the Irish claim the team title at the Notre Dame Invitational by finishing 10th ... ran very well at the Pre-National meet, finishing 52nd overall ... earned all-BIG EAST honors at the league championship by finishing 14th, helping Notre Dame finish fourth as a team in the highly-competitive field ... second on the team and 20th overall at the Great Lakes Regional, as Notre Dame finished second and secured a spot in the NCAA Championship field ... competed in her first NCAA cross country meet, finishing 120th ... began the indoor track and field season with a second-place finish in the 800 meters against Western Michigan and Ball State ... moved to the mile against Michigan State, winning the event in 4:52.81 ... shaved a second off that mile time at the Meyo Invitational, winning once again in 4:51.39 ... ended up fifth in the BIG EAST indoor meet in the mile ... posted her season-best mile time during the Alex Wilson Invitational, placing fourth in 4:49.30 ... ran in the top section of the 1,500 meters at the Stanford Invitational to begin the outdoor season and finished 15th in 4:28.40 ... won the 800 meters at the Spring Opener in 2:10.95 ... moved back to the 1,500 meters at the Tom Botts Invitational and finished second in 4:26.24 ... won section A of the 1,500 meters at the Mt. SAC Relays (4:27.21) ... qualified for the finals of the 1,500 meters at the BIG EAST outdoor meet, then finished fifth in 4:24.80 ... also competed in the 1,500 meters at the Georgia Tech Invitational.

AS A FRESHMAN: One of the cross country and track and field teams top performers in 2000-01 ... had an immediate impact during the 2000 cross country season ... won the second collegiate cross country meet in which she competed at the National Catholic Invitational, placing first in 18:08 ... also finished third at the Valparaiso Invitational ... competed at the BIG EAST cross country meet (finishing 39th) and the NCAA Great Lakes Region (106th) ... won her first collegiate track and field race, the 800 meters vs. Ball State and Western Michigan, in 2:16.73 ... moved to the mile run the next week vs. Michigan State, finishing third in 4:59.56 ... finished eighth in the mile run at the Meyo Invitational ... finished second in her heat and fifth in the finals of the mile run at the 2001 BIG EAST Indoor Championships ... finished second in the mile run at the Alex Wilson Invitational, with a season's best 4:56.41 ... began the outdoor season at the Arizona State Invitational, finishing third in the 800 meters ... won the 800 meters at the Spring Opener in 2:12.35 ... placed third at the Tom Botts Invitational in the 800 meters ... made the trip to the prestigious Mt. SAC Relays, finishing third in the 1,500 meters ... established the school record in the 1,500 meters in a preliminary heat at the 2001 BIG EAST Outdoor Championships, finishing fourth in 4:26.91 ... moved to the 800 meters at the Billy Hayes Invitational, finishing fourth in a season-best 2:11.96 ... traveled to the Georgia Tech Invitational to run the 1,500 meters, finishing fifth in 4:27.14.

PREP AND PERSONAL: Four-year letterwinner in cross country and track at Seattle Prep ... a three-time state champion in track and field and also won the state championship in cross country her senior season ... swept team MVP, all-conference, all-city and all-state honors all four years at Seattle Prep ... won three regional and conference championships in cross country ... set school records in the 3,200-meters, 1,600-meters, 300-meters and anchored the school-record setting 4x400 relay team ... boasts career-best times of 10:37 in the 3,200-meters, 4:55 in the 1,600-meters, 2:13 in the 800 meters and 58.0 in the 400-meters ... born Oct. 12, 1981, in Seattle, Wash. ... member of the 2002-03 BIG EAST Academic All-Star team ... enrolled in the College of Arts and Letters with an English and computer applications major.
